Tracking updates appear as soon as your shipment leaves our facility.
Will I receive an order confirmation email?

Shipping & Delivery
What are your shipping costs?
Shipping is calculated automatically at checkout.
Contiguous U.S. (Lower 48 States & APO):
• Free shipping on orders over $99
• $12 flat rate for orders under $99
• Subscribe & Save members get 10% off + free shipping over $99
Alaska, Hawaii, and Canada:
• Shipping cost = 20% of order total
• Free shipping does not apply in these regions
When will my order ship?
Most orders ship within 1–3 business days.
High-volume periods or backordered items may require additional time.
Which carriers do you use?
UPS, USPS, FedEx, freight carriers, or other trusted partners depending on the order size and destination.
Do you ship to P.O. Boxes?
UPS cannot deliver to P.O. Boxes, APO, or FPO addresses.
A valid street address is required for most orders.
Do international orders require customs fees?
Yes. Duties, taxes, and brokerage fees for Canada or other countries are paid by the customer.
Delays may occur due to customs processing.
Taxes, Payments & Security
Do I have to pay sales tax?
Sales tax is calculated at checkout based on the shipping address.
Canadian orders are subject to applicable GST/HST/PST.

Yes. Thrivalist uses SSL encryption and industry-standard protocols to protect your personal and payment data.
Returns & Cancellations
What is your return policy?
Only non-food merchandise in new, unused condition can be returned.
Food items (opened or unopened), special orders, clearance items, and used products are non-returnable.
What is the return window?
You must request a Return Authorization Number (RAN) within 14 days of receiving your order.
After 14 days, all sales are final.
Are returns subject to a fee?
Yes. All approved returns (except defective items) include a 15% restocking fee.
How do I request a return?
Email info@thrivalist.com with:
• Order number
• Contact information
• Reason for return
If approved, you’ll receive an RAN valid for 10 business days.
Are return shipping costs covered?
Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs unless the return is due to a Thrivalist error or product defect.
Can I cancel an order before it ships?
Yes — but cancellations may incur a 15% restocking/processing fee.
Once shipped, the order must follow the Returns Policy.
What if my package is damaged or lost?
• If damaged at delivery → refuse the package and note damage
• If damage is noticed after delivery → keep all packaging and contact us immediately
• Lost packages → notify us within 3 business days
Thrivalist is not responsible for loss/damage that occurs after delivery confirmation.
What qualifies as a defective product?
Manufacturer defects reported within 14 days qualify for replacement or store credit.

What is a #10 can?
A large, long-term storage can that holds roughly 13 cups of food. Ideal for emergency supply and bulk storage.
Do all #10 cans have the same quality?
No. Thrivalist uses enameled, BPA-free, food-grade coated cans to prevent metal interaction and extend shelf life.
Are Thrivalist cans rodent-resistant?
Yes. Heavy-duty steel and sealed mylar packaging protect against insects and rodents when properly stored.
How long do Thrivalist products last?
Generally 10–30+ years, depending on the product type and storage conditions.
What makes Thrivalist products last so long?

Freeze-Dried vs. Dehydrated
What is freeze-drying?
A preservation method using extreme cold and vacuum sublimation, retaining up to 95–99% of nutrients and maximizing shelf life.
What is dehydration?
A low-heat process that removes moisture from foods like pasta, beans, rice, oats, and vegetables.
Which is better?
Both are excellent:
• Freeze-dried → best taste, texture, nutrient retention, longest shelf life
• Dehydrated → compact, cost-effective, versatile
Most preparedness plans use both.
Storage & Handling
How should I store my food?
Keep products in a cool, dry location, below 70°F (21°C), away from direct sunlight.
Do not place cans directly on concrete floors.
How long do dehydrated foods last after opening?
Several months to 1–2 years depending on humidity, temperature, and resealing.
Dietary Needs & Allergies
Do you offer gluten-free options?
Yes — many items are gluten-free. See product pages for details.
Do you offer vegetarian options?
Yes — several plant-based and vegetarian-friendly items are available.
What about allergens?
Products may be packaged in facilities handling dairy, soy, nuts, wheat, or eggs.
Read labels before consuming.
