The compass in the Thrivalist logo represents guidance and direction, a reminder that preparedness isn't about having everything figured out. It's about knowing your next step.
Our goal is to help people navigate uncertainty with practical knowledge, trusted resources, and a clear path forward.
A compass doesn't choose the destination. It helps you find the way.
Thrivalist started with a simple realization: being responsible for a family changes the way you think about preparedness. When founder Marcello Surjopolos became a father, he began asking questions many families eventually face: What would happen if something went wrong? Would we have what we needed? Would I know what to do?
Those questions led to more than 20 years of experience in preparedness, emergency planning, research, and real-world application. Marcello’s knowledge has been strengthened through FEMA-trained expertise, professional emergency-management education, and hands-on experience responding to real preparedness challenges, not just theory, but practical knowledge that works when it matters most.
What began as a personal responsibility to protect his own family grew into a mission to help others prepare with greater confidence. Today, Thrivalist provides preparedness solutions and expertise trusted by families, businesses, medical teams, churches, and emergency organizations, helping communities become more resilient and truly live prepared.
Every family is different. The number of people you're preparing for, what you eat, what you already have, and what you can comfortably spend all matter.
That's why we don't believe preparedness should start with a giant checklist or a one-size-fits-all package.
Start with your family. Understand what you need. Then build your supply at a pace that makes sense for you.
Thrivalist isn’t built around fear or worst-case scenarios. It’s built around responsibility, the same questions we ask when preparing for our own families.
Would we trust this product in our own home? Would we know how to use it when it matters? Does it make preparedness simpler instead of more complicated?
Those questions guide what we offer, what we teach, and how we help families prepare.
We’re building the kind of preparedness company we would want our own families to rely on.
The Thrivalist Relief Fund is the charitable heartbeat of our company, a commitment to serve families and communities when they need it most. A portion of every profit we earn goes directly toward food and water relief efforts around the world.
Whether responding to
natural disasters or supporting regions facing extreme poverty, we partner with
organizations that have already demonstrated extraordinary impact. Together, we
deliver essential resources, restore hope, and help communities rebuild
stronger than before.
